Fully renovated in 2025, our apartments sit inside a historic building that welcomes guests with an arched inscription, "ANNO DMMCMXXVI", a tribute to the year it was built: 1926.
Located at Via Tommaso Campanella 68, in the heart of Prati, the building carries an unmistakable Latin aphorism: "DOMUS AMICA DOMUS OPTIMA" — "A friendly house is the best house." Words that evoke warmth and hospitality. In the quiet embrace of the old courtyard, the word "Rifugio" (shelter) whispers a touching piece of history, of lives once protected here. Today we welcome that same spirit, wishing this place to be a shelter not only in name but in essence, offering our guests a corner of comfort, peace and a genuine sense of home.
Several scenes of one of the most celebrated films by the legendary Neapolitan actor Totò, Gli Onorevoli, were also shot right here.
Deltis Boutique Apartments is in the heart of Prati-Trionfale, a central location just a few hundred meters from the Vatican Museums and Metro line A (Cipro station 350 m, Ottaviano 900 m). The neighborhood is lively and well served, yet quiet at night. A short pedestrian street in front of the building leads to Via Andrea Doria, full of restaurants, bars, a movie theater and the Trionfale market, one of the largest and oldest markets in Rome. About 15 minutes on foot takes you to Via Cola di Rienzo, one of the city's main shopping streets.
Our building holds a golden memory: several scenes of Gli Onorevoli (1963), the comedy directed by Sergio Corbucci starring the legendary Neapolitan actor Totò, were filmed here.
In the film, Prince Antonio Sant'Elena, an impoverished nobleman always short of money, decides to run for parliament to win back his properties. Between rallies, promises and misunderstandings, Totò delivers some of his most famous gags, poking ironic fun at Italian politics.
Within these same walls the prince's immortal lines still echo, and our guests now walk through the places that made a whole generation smile.
